Happiness, Glitter & Daydreams

One woman's unpredictable journey through life , love and happiness whilst snuggled in Faith.I choose happiness ...

Life is short so celebrate!

By 01:18 , , , ,

Always strive to see joy in all that you do no matter what may cross your path ...

The holiday season is always a challenging time for us mature singles , it really drives home the lack of having a family , the desire to be loved and the lonely path walked with a smile, but shadowed with sadness.

I think my mum and I have spent the last 5 Christmases or New Years , sometimes both in the Heart hospital with my dad , this year mom and I had barely finished saying 'yay!' a year out of the hospital when my 91yr old gran took ill.

God however is so faithful, we rushed gran to the heart hospital where the angel called 'Dr Murray (a heart surgeon)' saved my gran's life by inserting a stent ...

You may say well that's not a huge deal really!

But it is!

You see Dr's don't normally operate on such old patients as the stents are know to fester and yet we were blessed with a Dr. who was confident enough to do the procedure, today Gran is sitting and relaxing and very much still with us ...thank you Lord!

Life is short and can really be snatched away from you in a heartbeat! I just want to encourage you to celebrate the small victories , laugh out loud , live life to the fullest and never settle when it comes to your dreams.

May you have the best 2015 and may your heart soar and your wings fly. As we launch into 2015 ... remember ...
'For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. - JOHN 3:16'

Love, hugs,

  1. What a neat testimony! yes, they normally don't operate or even touch people at that age (sad to me). God has been faithful to us, and I agree, we should always celebrate the small victories :)
PS if you are up for sharing this further, I host a weekly Mom 2 Mom Encouragement Party. Would love to have you share this post there (or others you'd like) www.parentingandhomeschoolinginfaith.com
