Happiness, Glitter & Daydreams

Today I just want to show gratitude to the Lord for all that I have. I am testimony to God that if you use your God given talents the Lord will increase your talents.

I am fortunate to be quite a creative and gifted, hands on practical person. This leaves many a person I come across exclaiming 'what can't you do?' .... erhm ...run...jump off a cliff ... eat crazy things ...

There are many things I can't do , but there are many things I have also never tried ... 'talents in waiting' if you will. Today I really want to encourage you to try something new, step out of the belief that you are limited in what you can do and the rewards will be in the victory , achievement , accomplishment and joy of conquering something new.

The past year has been a journey of new passions , new gifts and talents for me but also an acceleration of old gifts and clearly my 'nurturing nature' despite not having any children of my own.I find myself mothering and mentoring young women despite not even trying.

I yearn for a new job , something creative , freelance that I can do at home. Something that will give me a stable future where I can pursue and invest in nurturing others talents and generate work for them, it has been a dream of mine for the longest time. Why? well because I have new talents and a dream just witing to be realised ...

So today I am here asking God in front of all of you to please open my heart , release new talents , present opportunities that will allow me to look after your people in the future Lord! I am dreaming, yes dreaming big Lord! Dreaming of a self sustaining community that are lifted from the ashes , that learn to love one another. I am dreaming of little homes , veggie patches , community work center and huge hearts brimming with love and they create beautiful works of art with their hands.

Thank you Lord for the gifts and talents you have bestowed upon me , thank you for the dreams you have placed in my heart and thank you for the doors you will open in Jesus name - Amen
