Life is like a Ferris Wheel ....
Sometimes I feel a little overwhelmed by the emotions that assuage my consciousness and preoccupy my mind ... all the while thinking ' is the whirlwind ever gonna stop?' ...
Life seems like a wheel turning around and around , no matter how pretty it ( the Ferris Wheel of Life) looks it can still disorientate you and scare the living daylights out of you ...
I am not a hater of life by any means. I love life, I enjoy new discoveries , making cherished friends and discovering the Lord on a daily basis; however there are times and seasons in life where the small things that used to make you smile, can be the very things that now bring a tear to your eyes.
I think it strikes hardest when for example: 'you are at church , having just heard a sermon on grace and not giving up on your dreams' (already having stimulated the tear ducts) only to be greeted by an avalanche of 'Happy Mothers Day' wishes from the teenagers at church (who unknowingly have just poured salt on an open wound).
If that didn't hit the bull's eye of emotion , the church giving all the Mothers a chocolate and honoring them sure did the trick .. a kind gesture bt one that pierces the hearts of those like myself that might never know that joy ... a clear reminder of dreams unfulfilled for many.
My dearest mumsy( and BFF) detected my sadness immediately, suspecting tears prior to visiting but not knowing why? How do I share these feelings with a mother (mine) who only had one child and might never see a grandchild ... you can't!
If you are like me, the best advice I can offer is...
Keep your eyes focussed on the Lord , love other peoples children and trust that God is working all things for the good ....after all we never know what lies in our future.
HAVE FAITH

I did have a beautiful Mother's Day with my mom and gran, even though it was a heart-sore moment for me and once again I realized it is a choice and ...
