Learning to jump for joy when the world tries to weigh you down!
It never ceases to amaze me how crazy and hectic life can be in the modern day world ...if I'm not struggling with a cellphone provider , it's my car that is playing up ...if it's not my car then it's something else and so it goes on!
I hear many a friend and acquaintance complaining about their so called 'lot in life' and all their frustrations ..etc. etc. It is so very easy to be caught in a whirlwind of negativity, complaining about what life sends our way ...but God never promised it would be easy.
He did however promise that He would be with us, love and support us through all the turmoil...
Today has been a tough day and life's noose feels tighter than ever before, but today I am choosing to jump for joy!
I am celebrating what I do have, not what I don't have!
and I am choosing happiness over negativity!!
As overwhelming as the need to complain and speak badly of businesses , people and situations are , how amazing will it be to rather speak of things that make you happy , consciously choosing to let go and catapulting yourself into a happier and more positive state of mind.
I'm trying right now ...
I love winter
I love smiles
I love hugs
I love my snuggles with my kitties
People make me happy
People bring me Joy
I love hot chocolate on a cold day
I love to cook and nourish others souls
I love the Lord
