Happiness, Glitter & Daydreams

One woman's unpredictable journey through life , love and happiness whilst snuggled in Faith.I choose happiness ...

Gosh darnit , I had the best of intentions and then somehow life just happened. I am sorry I have been so scarce but it really has been less of me and learning learning and learning some more.

My dreadful year has continued and what I thought was my dream job turned out to be a disaster but hey I'm still standing and entering a new chapter in my life come August ...God is good!

One thing I have never lost sight of is God and I can honestly say 'JUST HAVE FAITH!' it is the hardest thing on the planet to walk in faith but let me tell you the last 3 months have taught me that money DOES NOT rule my life , I can survive and God blesses even in disaster!
Even though this is just a quick check in to say , I want to trust God to deposit Romans 8 v 31 into each and everyone of your hearts and may you all be blessed.

Life is happening at a super fast pace at the moment , I have many projects on the go , whilst still attending to my daily routine ... I am exhausted!

I feel like Satan is doing his best to steal my peace of mind and so I thank God everyday for His belief in me and for the perseverance to push through ..driven purely by my faith in Him and Him alone.

Today as I sit here trying to wade through new phone line installations , lap tops that have gone bust and opening up accounts in my name after years of no debt ... I try to maintain my equilibrium by keeping my eyes focussed on Him.

Come pray with me if you are also feeling a little overwhelmed ...
Lord today I just want to thank you for all you do for me,
praise you for the connections and friends that you have grown.
today I choose to trust in you , that all is working according to
your plan and purposes for me life!
Lord please remind me that this is a relationship and that I
don't have to do this alone , but rather that I can lean on you.
You give me peace , rest , hope , joy and you love me.
Thank you Lord and please guide me through this rough patch.
Amen.

Have a super day everyone and I trust that you too will turn to him for guidance , peace and wisdom.

Sometimes PATIENCE can be the enemy too , learning to wait and accept all according to God's timing can be one of the greatest tests and challenges ever.

God speaks promises over our lives, and because we live in a world of 'instant  results' ... we expect the same in regard to God and spiritual promises , whether it be those in His written word and/or those spoken over our lives prophetically.

Today I encourage you to slow down , pace yourself ... speak to God and just keep hanging in there , the Lord always delivers.

'May you be made strong with all the strength which comes from His glorious power, so that you may be able to endure everything with patience.'Colossians 1:11 (Good News Translation)

So this last week has been manic , I returned from sick leave and piles of paper and work , only to have my dad fall ill ... eish!

My work load is an overload at the moment as I keep the engine of this business running whilst my dad is in hospital and prayer would be hugely welcome.

Today I just want to remind myself to make time for the important stuff .... you know catch my breathe ... and spend some time chatting to and meditating on God.

Nothing can bring calm and clarity into a situation quite like God can ... He calmed the seas and He can certainly calm me no matter what the chaos and storm that lies ahead.

Come let's pray ...
Lord today I pray that you would bring peace and calm into my storms
that you would bring about a supernatural serenity.
Lord I thank you that you will help me to cope with an
extended work load and family responsibilities
that you would step in and bring calm into my work enviroment.
Jesus I thank you for the healing and guarding hand you
have over my family both in sickness and in health.
Iam truly blessed by your love , your encouragement and
your patience Lord.
In Jesus name Amen.

Have a super day , I must run ... but still....

As you know by now the last few weeks have rather tattered my nerves , tested my faith , stretched my patience and grown me in ways I can never explain .... Yes my new gearbox has finally arrived and the wait and faith has not yet been put to rest, but we are making progress.

Throughout this journey I have felt stranded at times , lonely at others and yet I knew that it was just about being stretched , having faith and choosing to put satan back where he belongs ... Out of my mind.

Today I just want to encourage you to continue along your journey called life , forgive yourself your weaknesses and stand tall knowing that The Lord loves you , cherishes your company and cares enough to even know how many hairs you have on your head.

You may be standing alone at times but you have two choices ... You can either become part of the landscape or you can choose to be a beacon of light , a city on a hill and grow everyday.

Lord Jesus
I pray that whomever reads this today would feel
Your love in a tangible way Lord.
That they may know the unsurpassing peace and
Joy that your love brings. Daddy that you would give
Them a fountain of happiness bubbling up from the inside ,
Turning all that which seems negative into great big
Positives Lord. Jesus let us be your beacons of light
And hope to all those around us , to you be the Glory Lord.
Amen x x

May you be blessed until next time and may your smile grow wider everyday. Remember to do as I do ...

It is truly amazing how God can put a word or a phrase on your mind , when you pursue this 'topic' of conversation between yourself and God it often leads to revelation...hitting an invisible 'bulls eye' of your heart or spiritual being.

After a few rough days of humbling myself and having to rely on others after my car broke down, I have been fluctuating through a plethora of emotions. First up was anger , second the good old 'why me', thirdly God have you not been listening ' and lastly 'we knew this was coming' ...

Well to be honest, these emotions are normal but not really acceptable, why? If you are truly walking in faith would you really be questioning God, would you not rather be standing on His Word unwavering in the belief that God knows best ...irrespective of the circumstances?

Satan loves to take hold of our emotions in these moments of weakness and he uses every soft or vulnerable spot we have to the best of his ability, after all self doubt leads to a lack of trust in everyone.

I came across this verse in the bible which really restored and strengthened my resolve to trust , trust , trust!
