Happiness, Glitter & Daydreams

One woman's unpredictable journey through life , love and happiness whilst snuggled in Faith.I choose happiness ...

I realised when chatting to a friend this week how fleeting life can be , one minute sweet and serene and the next minute the big 'C'.

As a Christian I think it can be even more of a challenge because in your head you become angry , question why and go through a tormenting amount of hurt , disappointment and disillusionment in both life and Faith.

I cannot honestly comment on this as I personally have never had to face the reality of being diagnosed , I can only imagine how hard it must be and so I find myself constantly thinking of my friend ... praying for and trusting God to her to full health.

I know I have been quite absent of late and for that I apologise, I will make a concerted effort to continue to be here at least once a week.

In the meantime if I can ask you to rally around and say a little prayer for my friend B and also pray for all the women in the world facing the challenges presented by cancer. Please pray for strength for their families and for their Faith to hold strong.

Take care precious friends until next time.

Each and everyday I get up and go through the motions of either rushing to get dressed and out of the door, or alternatively bulldozing my way through my huge 'to do' list.

Well today was no different , I got up and got ready , I rushed outside to wait for my lift ...who happened to only arrive 20 minutes later. Was I angry when she arrived ?...no!
For once I got to stop , stand , breathe deeply ... and even though it was dark I watch the mist roll in under the lamp light ... I got to breathe fresh air and spend some much needed time just chatting with God.

Today I got to stop and think about my blessings , about how feeble we are to stress and worry when God so clearly tells us not to ...

' Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.' Matthew 6:34 NIV

I want to encourage you today , just take some time out of the madness , count your blessing and just leave all your worries to God ...
I know it is easier said than done, but I cannot explain what peace this practice has brought into my life. God will make all things happen for the good , not necessarily in the way you would have wished, but you will be amazed if you just stand in faith.

Have a beautiful Monday and I sure you follow suit as ...
